TATTERED HEART Joseph Paul is convinced his father is still alive in the shadow realm of Mortgatha. He wants to return to find him, only he wants to go alone. Unknowningly, Bitsy Hubbs, a girl who is nothing but an irritation to Joseph, accidentally is drawn into the dark realm with him. Together, they are hounded by Mortgatha's dark entities at every turn. Their only ally is a silly winged lizard named Jackal. Bringing to life a flying carpet of his own, they search for Michael Paul. But Joseph's dad has been diseased by the Shadowed Hands and Joseph has no understanding of how to save him nor of how the Earth rift works. to return home. It's Bitsy's unusual visions that help locate the door... until they are confronted by the Shadowed Hands.
