Taming of Him

I am broken… in the way of wild horses fleeing captivity.

It's Lily who has a way of bringing me back again and again before complete and utter darkness consumes me.

Though I continue to pretend, leading everyone to believe I'm normal; she sees through my many masks and dispels any notion of my disguises.

She knows the real me, determined, deadly and dangerous; retribution for what was done to me my highest goal.

And I know her, the flower with broken petals, still standing under the sun, ripe for the plucking.

We are not good for each other.

Our paths are paved in self-destruction.

Yet, our only chance at salvation lies in the other.

She wants to tame me, but I plan on devouring her.

In the way of war, only one of us can win… and I intend on it being me.
