Survivor's Guilt

Dan Gold is Northville's preeminent homicide detective, and his wife Rachel Gold a psychotherapist. When Rachel takes on client Paige Sefton, she finds herself challenged. Paige is a traumatized woman whose best friends were murdered while she was home with them. Now she's endured a series of brutal, bizarre attacks. Rachel lost her co-workers to violent murder years ago. As Paige's condition deteriorates, Rachel finds herself struggling with guilt as well. Dan and his partner, Xander Nicholson, continue to fail to stop the attacks. As a result, Dan and Rachel find themselves in a deadly situation on New Year's Eve, with Paige right in the middle. Of course, Xander's not too worried. He has bigger problems . . . the playoffs of the Northville Pool Hockey League and his battle with Granville Waiters and then the infamous . . . Pigwoman!
