A sleepy village in Cambridgeshire is about to be gripped in a reign of terror by a new resident, a strange young woman called Dayanira. The fact that the meaning of her name is: devastating, capable of great destruction, is no coincidence. What first appear to be two unexplained nocturnal deaths soon turn out to be something far more sinister - something with an insidious agenda. Sudden Unexpected Nocturnal Death Syndrome (S.U.N.D.S) is a genuine unexplainable medical condition that kills hundreds of - otherwise healthy - young people every year - typically males - leaving pathologists perplexed as to the cause of death.
