Street Cleaners

Elizabeth Kimble is a widowed mother of two young teens and a detective in the good old boy Tampa, Florida Police Department. Her collateral investigation to a previous case generates numerous, divergent, and dead end leads. The murders of several former street gang members represent extraneous chatter to her investigation, while a friend in the department uncovers evidence pointing to a bizarre twist. The two seek the aid of the new Assistant District Attorney. The arduous process of connecting one seemingly unrelated murder to the next, to the next, to the next, raises more questions than it answers. During the multifaceted investigation, the Ada uncovers disquieting information for Liz.

As she and the Ada dig deeper, their relationship evolves from professional to personal. Liz struggles with this new relationship and the memory of her murdered husband. The two investigators become aware that real danger threatens Liz and her children. An attempt on her life tells the pair that they are close to solving the mystery of the multiple deaths and overarching conspiracy.
