The eternal triangle of love, sex and money brought Storyville, New Orleans to a broil in 1905. MayAnn rejects her lover Antoine and takes up with a wealthy man in order to raise her station in life. After several machinations to win her back, Antoine chooses murder over honor and kills his rival. But is her death the consequence of his actions? The fabled Storyville, the first and only legally define red-light district in the United States, is a rich prize fought over by the vice lord Tom Anderson, the local Mafia and the New Orleans chief of police. Only, the can't conduct all out warfare or that will drive away the customers and kill the golden goose. So, they attempt to out maneuver one another with subterfuge - until Anderson devises a cunning way to bloody eliminate both his competitors.
