Vividly conscious of suffocating while lying in the view of the “coma men” standing in the mist, Sully grows aware of his girlfriend’s assuring him that he just woke from a bad dream. Each time he does so, he experiences strange visions while on the road. He also discovers that when he has those disturbing experiences, someone in the local area dies in a fire. As time goes on, and he grows aware of a strange presence living in his home, he struggles to understand what might be happening to him. After his father supplies a clue, and Anna provides enlightening insight, Sully finds the courage to confront the shadowy menace casting so troubling a pall over his life.
