On a cool, October morning, long-buried remains of a young woman are unearthed at a construction site near the peaceful Siletz River. When skeletal remains are discovered at a construction site, Logan and her boss, Vern, identify three missing women who fit the profile. Once the medical examiner declares the case a long-ago murder, it becomes an active homicide investigation and the Major Crimes Team is activated. But the budget for the team to chase this old ghost is limited. They have five days to identify the victim and find the killer or this one will fall back into the Cold Case files.
