Why did Marlowe run? And who killed her? After discovering Marlowe in her final moments, those are Elora's most pressing questions. But perhaps not the ones she should be asking. Desperate for answers and blind to the evil lurking in the shadows, Elora continues digging deeper, believing eventually, she'll hit something tangible. Elora returns to the lion's den in Calter with Gavin and Gwendolyn. As she continues to press, she finds that she's not as alone as she once thought.
