All I wanted was to save the coastal resort that has been in our family for generations.

Little did I expect the buyer would be the NHL player who my clique picked on in high school.

I have no idea why the boy from the wrong side of the tracks would drag me - his enemy - back from the brink of ruin.

But when he insists he has a position for me - nanny for his little girl - I begin to understand his motives.

Revenge.

I have no idea how he plans to exact it, but I'm willing to find out if it means saving White Beach Resort.

As I wait for the ball to drop, the summer begins to slip by, and I begin to fall for the man who hates me.

Stupid, I know.

While I still haven't discovered what he has up his sleeve, I slowly, deliciously discover what he has under his shirt, and below his belt.

The only problem is, I can't figure out if his touches and kisses are still about payback, or if they're about something more.

But I think I have a way to find out...and I pray it doesn't backfire.
