An all-out attack by Ahriman and his army of flying creatures succeeds in capturing Christina and Ellen, inflicting horrifying wounds, and leaves Rafe and his brother Pablo for dead in the depths of Lake Minnetonka.
The master now holds the injured sisters in his private research facility on his estate across the lake from the girls’ home. He only needs the Book that he believes will give him the next step in his diabolical plan and he believes Christina knows where it is.
