On the eve of a high-profile murder trial, a seven-year-old girl disappears — the daughter of the San Francisco cop who is the star witness. Was Amy kidnapped to derail the trial, or has one of her feuding parents hidden her away? Artist/private detective Jess Randolph joins the frantic search for the girl she thinks of as a sister.
