What happens to young men when the community they have been raised in tells them as young teenagers they have to leave? Where do they go? How do they survive? In this novel we have a pair of twin brothers, one is shunned and one stays behind. Twelve years later the one who stayed behind takes his son and ventures out into the real world. It is a transition that is difficult in many ways for the two brothers and their sons. But it also is humorous, eye-opening, and always entertaining.
