Leigh Evans's perception of reality is about to be shifted.



On the night of her high school graduation, Leigh stumbles onto a secret hiding in her sleepy rural town. What appears to be a case of serial abduction and murder is something darker, more sinister.



Enter Peter and Mollie Monroe, twins trained to hunt down and destroy the things that give people a reason to be afraid of the dark.



When the lives of these three intersect, nothing will ever be the same.



Leigh is thrust into a world she never knew existed, faced with dark creatures and secrets about her own past.





Shifted: Episode 1 is the first installment of the SHIFTED series. Written as part of J.A. Konrath's 8-Hour eBook Challenge, this episode is approximately 10,000 words.
