About This Book

In 1943, the U.S. Navy conducts experiments to make our ships appear invisible to the enemy. The government-sponsored project succeeds in creating invisible men—shadow people. Encouraged by their success, they commission an agency, the National Science Research Agency (NSRA) to oversee an attempt to create an invisible army. In the seventies, several teens encounter the shadow men while on a winter camping trip. The memories haunt them for many years. Brad Randall, a writer torn with dark memories of that encounter, goes back to the town where they saw the creatures to find out the truth. What he finds is that the real truth is more horrible than anything he could have imagined.
