Carlos needs to save his mother.When he is offered the chance to get out of juvie and live with a foster family he can't say no, even with random drug testing, summer school, and being cut off from his mom as part of the deal. Rules and school aren't his thing but if he can gain the foster parents' trust he just might earn the freedom to escape the system and give his mom a chance at a new life.Following the rules leads to a reward he didn't anticipate: glass-blowing classes. With an outlet to express himself, Carlos begins to heal from the wounds of a childhood filled with abuse and abandonment.When his mother is hospitalized, Carlos' desperation increases.
