Jolie's life is a mess and that was before her ex showed up with wings and a murder case.

She's an elf. He's a gargoyle prince. They're almost divorced, emotionally constipated, and now forced to work together thanks to one dead uncle and a rising ancient evil named Lilith who wants to seize control of Heaven, Hell, and basically everything with a zip code.

Lucifer's playing puppet master (again), demon politics are worse than online dating, and Jolie's trying very hard not to punch...or kiss...Tucker every time he opens his smug, infuriatingly attractive mouth.

Their mission? Stop Lilith from jumpstarting the apocalypse. Their obstacle? Each other. Well, and the army of deadly Shadows, flaming hellbeasts, and the fact Jolie's powers are acting like they're possessed by a caffeinated toddler.

The stakes are cosmic. The tension's off the charts. And the only thing more dangerous than the end of the world... is unresolved marital issues.
