Seems Like Old Crimes

TV investigative reporter Chase Charley is on the case. When she receives a mysterious phone call telling her to check out a New Orleans jazz club, her instinctive sleuthing skills kick in. Once at the club, she discovers a crime scene. The owner of a voodoo tour is dead. The police find a paper with Chase's name and number in the victim's hand. Now Chase has to uncover why this man had her info. Not to mention what happened to him.

Rival reporter Bill Dangerfield has been drawn into the case too. He thinks Chase should partner with him to get to the bottom of things. It's hard for Chase to resist his charm, even though he drives her crazy. When Marc Marquez, the rookie police officer, offers to help Chase too, she doesn't know which way to go.

Voodoo curses, money, and extortion. Is a voodoo doll to blame? Chase must get the scoop on the killer or face a deadly deadline of her own.
