About This Book

NefeTari Turaeud has just lost her grandfather...
Well, sort of.
After years of taking care of her grandfather the time had come for someone else to take over. Enter the Beauregard Senior Assisted Living Community. It's posh, it lets him have his freedom, and its only a few blocks away from home. It's perfect and convenient. To bad her grandfather never actually gets to enjoy it. It's sad but it's a part of life and she is slowly learning to cope with it.
If that wasn't enough to deal with, her grandfather comes to her in a dream and informs her that she is the descendant from a long ancient line of Egyptian Scribes that protect time and history. She dismisses it all until one night after locking up from her job at Marie Leveau's House of Voodoo on Bourbon Street she interrupts what appears to be a mugging in progress. Things become strange when a vigilante appears to save her, only for Tari disappear and find herself back where she started only a few moments before. And just in time to find out her destiny may include more than just a bit of time travel...
