Sacrifices

Adelaide must find her Maker before the Judiciars declare war on her and the other vampires. Joshua begins to train her in her powers in hopes it will tell her where her Maker is and who he may be.

After the incident with his partner, Detective Gregory is off the case and on medical leave, but the details of the case won't leave him. Something doesn't add up. When he realizes who's been put in charge of the investigation, he knows he has to put aside his mistrust of Joshua and work together if he's to save Adelaide, a woman he may be falling in love with.
