River

The year is 1811, and Gregor is a Seer living in the Mississippi Territory. He is determined to bring steamboats to the Mississippi River, but his hidden guardian angel is the only one who knows his secret purpose.The residents of Natchez find themselves embroiled in drama, as a brigand vows his revenge, and others try to find a way to love in spite of the obstacles in their path. The specter of slavery looms over the society, as does a mysterious comet which hangs in the sky causing unease to many.River slightly overlaps the timeline of Watcher, which ends in September 1811. River picks up the story two months before that, in July 1811.
