Rise of the Greenwood King

Robyn of Locksley wins the Hood in a mysterious Midwinter ritual game...and becomes the Hoodener, the Greenwood King. With his band of rebels and misfits, aided by Hobs and other spirits of the forest, he fights against Norman greed and oppression. Then one day he heard a voice upon the wind :'The Devil is Loose!' King Richard Lionheart is in Sherwood and a chance meeting with the young outlaw brings hope of a pardon. But the King wants Robyn to fight for him first, and that is not all the monarch desires from the young outlaw... Escaping the king's betrayal, Robyn and his band fly back to the greenwood, but Guy of Gisbourne is pursuing them, bizarrely dressed in a horse hide, possessed of the magic taught him by the witch Maydelin of Papplewick.
