The old man comes out of nowhere and disappears into thin air. Yes, it’s 1969 and strange things are happening, but Mick’s not on Acid. Wanda says he’s an angel but why would an angel appear to a burned out detective in a dying lumber port? Unable to follow his heritage, Mick has been drifting into trouble. But the old man’s cryptic words have him seeing through new eyes; and he sees who his angel really is. As he tries to be worthy by getting his life under control, events around him spin out of control. The town reels from a coldblooded murder...another… and another. Mick doggedly pursues the few clues he has; but it takes a showdown with a ruthless killer to realize the sordid and terrible truth. Will he live long enough to reveal it?
