Return to Shelter Hook

When Joe Walker returns home from business to the small coastal town of Shelter Hook, he is looking forward to some overdue time off. His weekend starts off well enough but his dreams of sharing a quiet lover’s reunion weekend with Maggie Richardson are quickly upset by events that draw him into one mystery after another. Curious and puzzling complications weave their way into a weekend that he could have never foreseen. Add in the return of a former friend for whom Joe now has nothing but bitter contempt, the ominous comings and goings of close friends, and the dark undercurrent of nearly forgotten events from the past, this is a not the dream weekend he expected.
