Return To Avalon

A sporeling from the Divinity Tree permeates the soil, awakening Gankyil, a prehistoric creature who recalls a fierce battle in which Ragsdale left him for dead. Disoriented, Gankyil journeys to Avalon where he takes a cataclysmic fall deep into the roots of the Loving Tree, mutating into three pieces. Grasping a crown from the rooted treasure of gifts, Gankyil emerges to face the startling revelation that he is the Bohemians. Furious, he returns to the Divinity Tree and with virulent force, muscles the crown through the seeping vacuole, intent on freeing the opal. Instead, the impact releases a fetal Marion into the porcelain nest. The opal now inside her, the Bohemians gather to protect their treasure. When a messenger arrives to carry Marion to Avalon, he bestows to her an amulet encrypted with sacred text. Placing the crown on her head, Marion faces King Oman and Ellingwood, as Princess Trikaya.
