When Franciska Varga left the law firm and her life in Michigan, she trusted her tarot cards to point her in a new direction. She had no idea how many odd directions the cards would ultimately lead her in. Not only does she learn she has her grandmother's eerily accurate ability to read the cards, she discovers she has also inherited a more troubling and powerful gift. Franciska (Effie) is in a race against time. she must learn how to control and use her new-found abilities while trying desperately to discover the identity of a murderer.
