With her dog, Mitten, she has a lengthy hike to Canada where her long-time Washington contacts wait. The Soberts will help her get back into the US.Tavros Fallas-Gorrido, Tavy, has been hoping the woman would leave Montana for years. He's more than interested in Lis. He can see one big hurdle in getting to know her, the color of his skin. Has the CNP's hatred of 'tainted' races taken hold in her mind?
