Red House

There's a red house over yonder.  Whatever you do, don't go inside. Stephanie Garcia just wanted to take a few days off and recharge.  She'd barely begun before she was broken down on the side of the road with no choice but to walk to the closest house she could find.  Now, trapped inside by a rabid dog, Stephanie begins to explore this place where the dressers are full, but the cupboards are bare, and stairs go up, and up, and up. Who are the featureless shadow figures sitting at the table, what are the terrible footsteps pounding closer and closer from the dark, and what could possibly be behind that door that's easily thirty feet tall? Stephanie came looking for help, now she just wants to escape with her mind intact.  Will she make it out or will she wind up just another shadow roaming the halls?  RED HOUSE is over 10,000 words of gut-churning terror.
