It's 10:30pm on Sept. 19th, 1961, just outside of Lancaster, New Hampshire. Betty and Barney Hill are driving back from their honeymoon in Niagara Falls when Betty notices a falling star streaking across the sky. But there's something strange about this falling star. It is falling upward ...So began the Hill Abduction, otherwise known as the Zeta Reticuli Incident. The event, which lasted into the morning, found the coupled pursued by mysterious lights in the sky along a remote highway, only to wake up hours later and more than 30 miles away from the initial encounter. Was their pursuit a dream, a hallucination, or something more sinister?Inspired by the Betty and Barney Hill abduction, the first widely publicized alien abduction in the United States, Recall is a graphic novel about race, romance, and fear.This is the debut project from author Kevin Miller, a writer/producer from Discovery, The History Channel, and Comedy Central. To bring this project to life, Miller collaborated with Croatian artist Danijel Zezelj, who has previously worked with DC Comics/Vertigo and Marvel Comics on properties like Sandman, Captain America, and Superman.
