Rebirth

This is one of three different installments about a corporation that, through the powers of science, try to reconfigure what was once lost in the old era and can be more easily obtained in the new. However, these "experiments" are highly illegal and are also threatening to one's health, possibly deadly. Xilcen finds a way to make a permanent solution to having one obtain power, yet find they've outdone themselves. Their "experiment" becomes too great and gets loose from their hold. In their attempts to gain it back, they forget to understand that people are not just more things to toy with... and are not to be taken lightly.
