Alex Mortimer Witherspoon wants to be is a writer. But when she is thrown from a fair ride and tossed into electric cables, Alex finds herself reanimated; one of the Living Dead. She wakes up in a place called Reanimation Reform School, designed to help the Living Dead "pass" in mainstream society. Suddenly, Alex's old world collides with the new when the boy she's been crushing on forever, Hub, tracks her down. But how to explain her attraction to her new Afterlife "Chaperone" -- and fellow zombie -- Leo-19?
