Rachel

Rachel narrates book 2 of the William Young series. While still a child, Rachel fell in love with the handsome boy who saved her life. When she meets Billy again twelve years later, his crushing comments make her realize he can never share her feelings, but when he offers her and her foster children his support and protection, she accepts for the children's sake.
