Primary Storm

Lewis Cole, former Department of Defense analyst turned columnist in the small resort town of Tyler Beach, N.H., plans to lie low for the January chill--and the chaotic presidential primary. Trouble starts when a Secret Service agent corners him about his past. And when someone takes a shot at presidential hopeful Senator Jackson Hale during a rally, it's Cole who is jailed as the prime suspect.

Luckily, a surveillance camera confirms Cole isn't the shooter, but he knows someone wants him framed. And when a body is found on his doorstep, he realizes his hidden enemy is deadly serious. Between the women in his life--he's romancing a member of Jackson's campaign staff, and dated the candidate's polished wife during college--as well as the dark political crosshairs he can't escape, Cole treads dangerous election-year waters...with a bull's-eye on his back.
