Picking Wildflowers

A literary novel based in the mid 1900s in Oakridge, Tennessee finds a boy who finds his way through the most darkest times as the town he grows up in goes through the inevitable as the flu takes over the small town. Jacob, Tommy-Boys dad whom is also the town's family doctor steps away from the family home that sits on 10 acres to spend more time helping the people of the town. During times of trials and tribulations Tommy's mom Valerie and his dad Jacob's home gets turned upside down while Tommy finds himself a near by grove to spend much of his time at. The hard times just keep on coming, as it rejoices the family back together again.
