Phases of a Broken Sky

Jesse Holloway can't blame her parents for being overprotective. They never got it together after tragically losing her brother when she was very young. Jesse finally puts her foot down so she can experience normalcy by going to college. Soon after leaving home, she meets an attractive and cryptic traveler, Maxwell, who is also heading west. Jesse is drawn to the seemingly perfect stranger—despite a serious "quirk"—but Maxwell is more concerned with getting back home before the full moon. After Maxwell casually mentions a secret memory of Jesse's, her entire identity is unraveled. As much as Jesse would really, really like to not be a part of Maxwell's dangerous future, he may very well be the only person capable of solving her mysterious past.
