Max returns to America while war brews in Peru. 1000 years before the Inca, the Wari Empire decorated their capital with gold plating and the killer Pizarro brothers are dying to get it. Complicating warfare is the world's largest silver deposit at Potosi, the world's largest salt pan in Bolivia, the world's largest copper and nitrate deposits in the Atacama Desert, and America's largest mercury mine near Lima. It's all there for the taking, but the Wari have 200,000 warriors. Betrayal, secrets, treachery, assassinations, and double-crosses lead to the Siege of Lima.
