Person of Interest

The vast majority of men who sexually abuse women are apprehended by law enforcement, convicted and sentenced to some type of incarceration. These abusers are usually taken into custody rather easily because they leave clues, DNA and other physical evidence at the scene of the crime. Some are arrested because of video surveillance cameras. What would be the outcome if the abuser was extremely clever and left no evidence whatsoever? What if he had the financial wherewithal to travel not only across the United States, but also worldwide; so his crimes fit no identifiable pattern? What if he left money with every victim, to confuse the issue? What if he had exotic chemicals at his disposal, drugs that rendered his victims compliant? Sexual abuse is handled differently from state to state, from country to country; in many countries it boils down to his word against hers. In some countries, law enforcement would prefer that the complaint never sees the light of day. Would he ever be apprehended?
