A pregnant and popular television celebrity nurse Amanda Clayburn is brutally murdered in her apartment, the only thing missing from Amanda is a valuable peridot ring. With the long list of suspects and of the very wealthy with their own secrets to protect the case becomes insightful and cold.
Ordered to give the unit a positive outlook to the public, cold case crime reporter, Skylar Benton enters to assist the two detectives that are on borrowed time. But even with her help, the detectives are finding this case challenging to solve.
