Penny the Brave

Penny Daulton is the sword-fearing bookkeeper for the Windfarer's Inn of Northroe. Spilling ale at the tavern with his lifelong friends, Royce and Alomar, is the most excitement the man sees in his mundane life.

One fateful night, disastrous coincidence causes the trio of friends to be indirectly responsible for arson and murder, forcing them to flee Northroe and leave their lives behind.

Penny, Royce and Alomar aren't on the run for but a few hours when they get themselves accidentally inducted into a bandit clan deep in the Kovald Forest.Reluctantly playing the parts of renegades, Penny and his friends try to earn their place in the band of outlaws while trying to keep their heads attached to their bodies. But, in the company of such men (and one woman), Penny can't avoid the harsh realities of a brigand's life forever.

Death is serious business, after all.

These are but the first steps of an epic saga plunging ordinary men and women into extraordinary circumstances. They don't know it yet, but their actions will have a ripple effect across the nation of Eisley, to be felt by all for decades to come!
