When is a missing child not a missing child? That's what ex-Pittsburgh Police homicide investigator Dutch Law wants to know when he discovers that street children are missing, but no one knows they're missing except other street children...and now Dutch. Once homeless himself, Dutch knows the streets of Pittsburgh better than most, but to solve the mystery he must leave Pittsburgh and travel back to the small town where he grew up and where his estranged Amish relatives still live.
