Music journalist Nikki McGraw thought she'd seen it all, until the night an Elvis impersonator armed with a wooden stake kept her off of a hungry vampire's menu. The world is a much stranger place than she ever imagined, full of haunted instruments, luthier magicians, faery raves, sirens, tulpas, and perhaps the most frightening of all, her own demons.
