Paradox Lost

The Demonlord’s goblins flood the Northlands. Prophecy is about to be fulfilled. If being fated to die isn’t bad enough for him, archaeologist turned highmage, George Bradley must deal with the Imperial Court, a Shattered House challenging one of his bodyguards to a fight to the death, and a deadly assassin running loose in the palace. Once he deals with all that, he must join the Imperial Legions and every mage the Empire can spare at the Imperial border to deal with tens of thousands of very hungry goblins. He, of course, has a plan and an army to back him up, he hopes. Well, there are Legionnaires, stone battle dwarves, wild ogres, a handful of Warder Mages and thieves. However, his nemesis, the Lord of Demons, in addition to all those goblins has a terrifying Curse prepared and, of course, the dragon destined to kill the upstart human Highmage.
