PANIX: Magician SpyDespite the pleadings of his magician-sister, Panix Gavid spurns his incredible potential to rise great heights at the Morwen Academy of Magic and takes a position at a metalworks magician in a far land. He clashes with the owner's daughter and finds that his services aren't as appreciated as much as he thought. Circumstances force him to leave his work and join the intelligence agency of his native land. He runs afoul of an enemy assassin-agent and is drawn into a larger conflict where war is brewing. He can use his prodigious powers to stir up trouble, but as he does so, he will expose himself to deathly danger as he deals with personal demons while circumstances take unexpected turns.
