      The penthouse was dormant.  When four-year-old Pear and her parents move in, it awakens with a plan to divide and conquer.

      The young girl finds herself playing with ghosts days after moving into her new home. Her  odd-eyed cat goes suspiciously missing.  She begs the ghost to return her cat.  But she won'tt  help.  Her nanny Wynne helps her write a note to calm down the angry ghost, but it doesn't  work. The ghost is starting to scare her.  

      She tries to make toast and feed the haunted spirit, but it isn't hungry. Soon Wynne is gone, and then her mother.  What else can a four year old do?

      Will she be able to calm the ghost or will they all inexplicably lose each other in the layers of the house?
