Opal

When an iridescent opal arrives in Avalon, it summons a cast of unsavory visitors who are irresistibly drawn to its luminous echo. Among them is Gankyil, a sordid minotaur who has terrorized Ellingwood for more than a decade in an agonizing search for his coveted jewel. Feeling its power emanating from Avalon, Gankyil directs the force of his evil energies to Marion and inflicts unimaginable torments to compel her surrender of the treasured object. The Bohemians bravely combat Gankyil until his insufferable horrors turn to tricky deception and he craftily purloins the cherished gem. Unceasing in his taunting, Gankyil seduces Marion through a threshold of passageways leading her deep underground to face a torturous self-annihilating death. In a frightful turn of events, Marion overtakes Gankyil, reclaims the opal and ascends his violent labyrinth transformed.
