One Night in May

It's 1920 and Sioux Simms is about to become involved in solving three crimes.The landlady of a boarding house, Ruth Ruggles, is murdered on Thanksgiving night, and her sister, Ruby, takes over running the boarding house. Sioux's fiancé lives there and Sioux quickly becomes involved.While Sioux tries to help Ruby put the house and yard in order, multiple bodies are found buried in both the front and rear yards. The bodies have been there for decades.Sioux loves solving puzzles, and since all but one of the crimes happened many years ago, she feels safe in trying to put the pieces together.Can there be a connection between the old crimes and the new one? What role do broken toys play? If there's a solution, Sioux may find out things she'd rather not be aware of, because there is a seedy side to life that she's not familiar with and doesn't want to be.
