Of Rooks and Ravens

When an ancient, forgotten god returns to conquer the city of Ravensgate, its inhabitants quickly discover that what makes the city magical, what powers its undead army and necessitates its college of necromancy, could also prove to be the city’s doom. Her city in chaos behind her, Preston, a student at Ravensgate College, is forced to flee the only home she’s ever known. With her father’s uncompromising colleague Yuri Vostov leading the way, Preston journeys to the Caliphate of Dust. In the midst of the life and color of this new land, she must find a way to save her dead and blackened city from the nightmares that hold it captive.
