Since the beginning of time there has existed an ancient order of reapers whose sole purpose is to maintain the balance between darkness and light. The leaders of the order, the Reapers Grimm, recruited Aurora over two hundred years before when darkness-in the form of the Tainted Ones-began to gain a foothold in humanity, tipping the already precariously balanced scales.
