Angelique is not what she appears. Well, she is grumpy, antisocial, a loner and pretty much a normal teenager. But when a new boy named Zane moves to her school, things start to change, and in Angelique's view, not necessarily for the better. Add in superheroes, supervillains, plus teenage drama and friendship, could things get any more odd? -- Leander loves to tell stories. And what harm can really come from a small lie? When one of his tales goes wrong and he gets sent to live with his father, Leander finds out even the smallest lie matters when his life suddenly takes a turn for the terrifying. -- Just once, Harold wishes his plan would work out. But when he decides to go after the Eye, his luck just has to change, doesn't it? -- Benji is depressed. But that's pretty easy to understand since his girlfriend is dead and all he has left are his memories. But can a mysterious black rose found on Annie's grave release him from his pain forever?
