Odd Man Out

A half million dollars in campaign money is missing and so is campaign manager Lowell Johnson. With all known facts pointing to Johnson as the thief, everyone including longtime friend and U.S. Senator Morton Anderson believes Johnson has embezzled the money and left the country. Everyone, that is, except Johnson’s assistant Patty Moran. Seeking justice for her friend and mentor, Patty enlists Minneapolis private investigator John Harwell into what soon becomes a lethal version of hide and seek.
